Privacy Policy

Actualized Audio is the music production studio of Watashi. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email watashisound@gmail.com.
What I collect
- Your application. When you send the application form, I receive what you enter: your name, email, Instagram handle, details about your project and any links you share. The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers it to my email.
- Where you came from. If you arrive through an ad or a tagged link, the campaign name in that link and the page that referred you are sent with your application, so I know which ads are working.
- A saved draft. While you fill in the form, your answers are saved in your own browser so they aren't lost if you reload the page. They are deleted once the application is sent and never leave your device until then.
- Cookies for advertising, only if you accept them. With your consent, this site uses the Meta Pixel. It sets cookies that tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that you visited this site and whether you sent an application, so I can measure my ads and show them to people who have already visited. Meta does not receive your form answers.
- Basic server logs. The site is hosted by Vercel, which records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure.
How I use it
- To review your application, reply to you and arrange a call if we're a good fit.
- To understand which ads and links bring people to the site.
- To show my ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited, if they accepted cookies.
I don't sell your information, and I don't add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else handles it
- Formspree, which processes the application form.
- Meta Platforms, for the Meta Pixel, only if you accept cookies.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Google, which provides the website's fonts and my email.
These companies may store data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long I keep it
I keep applications for as long as we're in conversation or working together, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case we create again. Ask me and I'll delete yours. Meta keeps Pixel data under its own policy.
Your choices and rights
- You can decline cookies when the notice appears, and nothing is sent to Meta.
- You can change your mind at any time with the button below, which shows the cookie notice again on your next visit.
- You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing watashisound@gmail.com.
- You can control which ads you see in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
Done. You'll be asked again next time you open the home page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
